Ajuy beach<\/b> boasts black sand due to its volcanic composition. This unique feature can be attributed to the formation of the island of Fuerteventura, which occurred millions of years ago through the combination of lava and sediment. The coarse texture and dark hue of the sand give it a distinct black color when observed from a distance.<\/p>\n

Nestled on the western coast of Fuerteventura Island, Ajuy is a charming fishing village renowned for its panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean. The caves and black sand beach are considered a national monument and therefore protected under Betancuria Rural Park.<\/b><\/p>\n
