Last year, I had the privilege of visiting APCA, an NGO in Canelones, Uruguay, dedicated to cats and farm animals. APCA provides a sanctuary for feral, endangered, and abused cats, as well as farm animals rescued from mistreatment.<\/p>\n

Some of the animals have endured cruelty, accidents, paralysis, cancer, and abandonment. When feasible, they are placed for responsible adoption.<\/p>\n

The mission is to ensure they live a serene and comfortable life in a large, natural outdoor environment, with appropriate shelters and boundaries to keep them safe.<\/p>\n
