The most representative symbol of this area is the &#8220;Torito de Pucar\u00e1&#8221;, which are hung in pairs over the entrances of the houses as a symbol of protection and prosperity. That is why Pucar\u00e1 is also known as the &#8220;Tierra del Torito&#8221; (Land of the little bull).<\/p>\n<p>Pucar\u00e1 is located 104 kilometers north of the city of Puno and 60 kilometers from Juliaca. It is located on the edge of the road to Cusco, with an altitude of 3860 meters above sea level.<\/p>\n<p>\ud83c\uddea\ud83c\uddf8 Al norte de la regi\u00f3n de Puno se encuentra la localidad de Pucar\u00e1, la cual es reconocida por su cer\u00e1mica. El s\u00edmbolo m\u00e1s representativo de esta zona es el \u201cTorito de Pucar\u00e1\u201d, los cuales son colgados en pareja encima de las entradas de las casas como s\u00edmbolo de protecci\u00f3n y prosperidad. Es por eso, que a Pucar\u00e1 tambi\u00e9n se le conoce como la \u201cTierra del Torito\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Pucar\u00e1 se encuentra a 104 kil\u00f3metros al norte de la ciudad de Puno y a 60 kil\u00f3metros de Juliaca.
