During my visit to Daewangam Park, Dong-gu, Ulsan, South Korea<\/b>, I was struck by its beautiful rocky coastline and turquoise-blue waters. In these waters, fishing boats<\/b> offer shared excursions where individuals can pay for a spot on board, a common practice in Korean coastal waters. Online groups are often used to share departure times and real-time updates on the catch, which frequently includes large mackerel, yellowtail, cutlassfish, and anchovies.<\/p>\n

In contrast to boat fishing, haenyeo (\ud574\ub140)<\/b>, traditional female divers, still collect shellfish and other marine resources in these waters without breathing apparatus, maintaining a centuries-old coastal practice.<\/p>\n
