The TMM 0954<\/b> is a specialized track maintenance locomotive operated by KORAIL<\/b>, South Korea’s national railway company. The acronym TMM most likely stands for Track Maintenance Motorcar.<\/p>\n

The Korean company Shin Sung Systems<\/b> manufactured and adapted the vehicle’s maintenance equipment, including the work platform, as indicated by the "SSS" logo on its side.<\/p>\n

The primary purpose of the TMM 0954 is to inspect and repair the tracks and the catenary (the system of overhead power lines), which it does mainly during the early morning and nighttime hours to avoid interrupting train service. It features a platform and a pantograph to perform work at height on the catenary.
