A few doors down from Leonidas<\/a> \u2014 another street cat we befriended on the same block \u2014 this ginger cat had claimed his own small kingdom \u2014 a wooden platform topped with a worn red rug, lovingly set there by the locals. We often saw the two of them nearby, each minding their own territory with the quiet dignity that only street cats seem to master.<\/p>\n
